Tuesdays 7:00 - 8:15pm EST | 4 - 5:15pm PST
Class is held on Zoom*
Prenatal yoga builds strength and adaptability to move you through pregnancy and into parenthood. Poses, breathwork, and guided meditation are combined with thoughtful discussion, weaving in comfort and coping tools for all birth experiences. Sequences are designed to safely meet the needs of all who attend, offering a prenatal yoga practice that is truly open to all levels.
Prenatal yoga can help ease common aches and pains of pregnancy, while fostering strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Additionally, both modified and prenatal specific postures can help “stack the cards in your favor” for birth by encouraging a balanced pelvis and core.
Most often described as creative and joyful, Caprice’s prenatal classes are truly unique. With over a decade’s experience teaching yoga to the perinatal population in addition to training new pre- and postnatal yoga instructors, Caprice’s depth of knowledge makes for a deeply supported class.
Sage Caprice Abowitt is a certified yoga instructor, birth doula, and childbirth educator. A classically trained dancer, Caprice committed to a yoga practice after sustaining a severe back injury in college. She has led classes and teacher trainings all over the world, in places like Greece, Costa Rica, and Bali. Previously, Caprice was a senior teacher with and co-led Teacher Training for the Prenatal Yoga Center. Her prenatal yoga classes stand out with smart sequencing, thoughtful alignment, and joyful energy.
