Infant CPR + Safety

We're thrilled to finally add Infant CPR + First Aid to Birthsmarter's in-person class schedule!

This 2-hour, hands-on class is designed for new and expectant parents and anyone who cares for infants and young children (grandparents welcome!). We'll teach you practical skills for responding to common emergencies, with plenty of time to practice the techniques yourself.

What You'll Learn

• Infant and child CPR
• How to respond to conscious and unconscious choking
• What to do when an infant or child is not breathing
• Basic first aid for common childhood emergencies
• Injury prevention and home safety

Hands-on practice is a key part of this class. Class size is intentionally limited, with one CPR mannequin for every two participants, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to practice the skills we teach and ask questions along the way.

While the class focuses on infants and toddlers, the skills you learn can continue to serve you throughout the elementary school years; knowing what to do in those first few moments of an emergency can make a scary situation feel a little more manageable.

And because these are skills worth revisiting, your registration in Birthsmarter's Infant CPR + First Aid class also includes lifetime access to our On-Demand course as well, allowing you to refresh your knowledge and review the material whenever you need.
